In this episode, Samson talks about one of the biggest cultural differences between Iran and many Western countries: moving out at the age of 18.
In countries like the UK, Canada, and the US, leaving your parents’ house is seen as a natural part of growing up. It doesn’t mean you don’t love your family — it means you are learning independence, responsibility, and how to manage life on your own.
Samson compares this with Iranian culture, where staying with family until marriage is completely normal and often preferred. He explains how economic pressure, cultural values, and ideas about safety and respect shape very different lifestyles.
This episode is not about right or wrong — it’s about understanding why people live differently in different cultures.

In this episode, Samson talks about a funny cultural shock he had in Iran — shopping!
In London, shopkeepers leave you alone. You walk, look, and buy if you want.
But in Iran, the seller follows you everywhere, trying to help — or sell!
For Samson, it first felt like pressure, but later he learned:
In Iran, following the customer = kindness.
In London, leaving the customer alone = respect.
Same action, two different meanings!

He also compares how people shop in both countries:
Iranians buy food daily — fresh bread, fruit, and vegetables.
Londoners do one big shopping trip every week.
Each has its pros and cons — freshness vs. time-saving.

Shopping Culture Shock!»

In this episode, Samson talks about three big cultural differences he noticed when trying to keep his daily running routine in Iran:
1️⃣ The streets — In London, sidewalks and paths are perfect for jogging. In many Iranian cities, they’re uneven, narrow, or unsafe.

3️⃣ The mindset — In Iran, exercise is seen as something separate that needs special time. In London, it’s blended into daily life—walking, cycling, or jogging to work.

Samson explains how culture and city design shape our daily habits. Neither is right or wrong—just different.
