- يأتي قبل الأشهر وقبل التواريخ والفصول فنقول :
- I'm going on holiday in October
أنا ذاهب في عطلة في أكتوبر
- Emma was born in 1983
ولدت إيما عام 1983
- the park is beautiful in spring
الحديقة جميلة في الربيع

- ونقول كذلك:
➬ in the morning في الصباح
➬ in the afternoon في فترة ما بعد الظهر
➬ in the evening في المساء
Ex:
- I always feel good in the morning
أشعر دائمًا بالراحة في الصباح
- Do you often go out in the evening?
هل غالبا ما تخرج في المساء؟

- ونقول كذلك :
➬ in five minutes في خمس دقائق
➬ in a few days في أيام قليلة
➬ in six weeks في ستة أسابيع
➬ in tow years في سنتين
Ex :
