امروز روز تولد امام علی(ع) است که ۱۴ قرن پیش در منشور زمامداری ای که صادر کرد به استاندارش نوشت: «مردم دو گروهند، یا همدین تواند و یا اگر همدین تو نباشند همنوع تواند، با آنان چون درنده خویان رفتار نکن، مهربان باش، ترش رویی شان را تحمل کن و پاسداران را از خودت دور کن که بدون ترس و‌لکنت زبان بتوانند با تو حرف بزنند و انتقاد کنند»
