I drifted through that place as if it were my prison, a dim world heavy with shadows and silences that twisted and clung. Creatures stirred in the murky corners of my vision silent figures with hollow eyes and hands that seemed almost human, yet too long, too thin, too real and not real all at once. The walls breathed with whispers I could never fully hear, fragments of voices that might’ve once been mine. It wasn’t home, wasn’t anywhere I belonged. And yet, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this place was bound to me, or perhaps I to it, caught, lost, and left to wonder if I was the intruder in my own mind.
