Job Description:- On behalf of a well renowned Engineering firm Adira Employment is recruiting for Admin Assistant Position. The organization is committed to the task of designing and developing various types of water treatment systems, swimming pool systems, centralized water heating and steam generation systems, air conditioning systems, firefighting systems, sewage and waste water treatment systems, solid waste treatment systems and air pollution protection systems.
2. Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Schedule meetings and take detailed minutes when necessary
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Assist the technical team during the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Develop and maintain a filing system
• Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures
• Order office/site supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Receive invoices and review for accuracy
•Support the accounting team in preparation of various
• Actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
3. Required Qualifications
(a) Academic Qualification and experience
• BA in business management, accounting and finance or any other business related field with 1-2 years’ work experience preferably in a business organization
• Diploma in business management, accounting and finance or any other business field related field with 3-4 years’ work experience preferably in a business organization
(b) Other Competencies/Abilities/Skills Required
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Amharic and English
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work on weekends and at night
