کتابخانه واتیکان
یکی از قدیمی‌ترین و مهم‌ترین کتابخانه‌های جهان، فضایی را فراهم می‌کند که گویی در دل تاریخ قدم می‌زنید. سالن‌های آن با سقف‌های طاقدار، دیوارهای مزین به نقاشی‌های هنری و قفسه‌هایی مملو از نسخه‌های خطی قرون‌وسطایی، حس ورود به دنیایی اسرارآمیز را القا می‌کند.
از قدیمی‌ترین نسخه‌های باقی‌مانده از کتاب مقدس، تا دست‌نوشته‌های ارزشمند یونانی و لاتین. در آرشیو این کتابخانه وجود دارد .
