Job Title: Medical Representative
Reports to: Sales Coordinator
Location: 60 Meter Road, Mamostayan Qr., Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq
Position Overview:
The medical representative promotes the Centre’s services. The medical representative will increase service awareness, answer queries, provide advice and promote new products.
Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities:
- Organising appointments and meetings with community doctors and hospital-based healthcare staff
- Identifying and establishing new business
- Gain new customers and maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, follow up on customer orders as necessary
- Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly
- Demonstrating or presenting services to healthcare staff to doctors through newsletter, brochure, etc.
- Meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals to build relationships with medical staff
- Maintaining detailed reports of daily sales calls
- Attending and organizing trade exhibition, conferences and meetings
- Undertaking relevant market research
- Work with other sales members to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
- Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the sales coordinator to discuss future targets
- Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to be aware of the market price
- Improve product knowledge and sales techniques
- Research competitors.
- Conducting surveys of doctors and report all surveys on a daily basis
- Stay informed about the activities of health services in the area
- Collect insights and trends from the market and report it to the line manager
- Reach out to Hospitals, Healthcare staff to promote our products and services
- Any other tasks as required by supervisor
