Imam al-Hasan (as), in answer to a person about the reason for hating death, said,

"Because you have wrecked your Hereafter and built your world, and you hate to move from a constructed place to a demolished place."

💠 Wisdom from Nahjul Balagha

Storms may overtake you while there may be none to prick you (for reforms). Shall I be witness to my becoming heretic after acceptance of Faith and fighting in the company of the Prophet?!

"In that case I shall be misguided and I shall not be on the right path." (Qur'an, 6:56).

So you should return to your evil places, and get back on the traces of your heels. Beware! Certainly you will meet, after me, overwhelming disgrace and sharp sword and tradition that will be adopted by the oppressors as a norm towards you.

The Holy Prophet (s) said,

Whoever patiently tolerates his wife’s bad character [for the sake of God], for every day and night of his endurance God will grant him the same reward as that granted to Prophet Ayyub [Job] (as) for enduring his afflictions.

💠 Quran Light

Therefore, withdraw from him who turns away from Our Reminder and desires nothing but the life of this world.
فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَنْ تَوَلَّی عَنْ ذِكْرِنا وَ لَمْ يُرِدْ إِلاَّ الْحَياةَ الدُّنْيا
📖 Surah Al-Najm, Verse 29

⚜ Muslims are bidden to withdraw from those who turn away from the religion of God Almighty and do not give ear to Divine Injunctions, since turning away from God Almighty and mammonism are the most obvious tokens of error.

Thus, the blessed Verse in question addressed to the Noble Prophet of Islam (S) bids him to withdraw from those who solely seek mundane life and reinforcement of bestial faculties and refrain from engaging in scholarly arguments and discussions, since their utmost extent of knowledge is to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh and they may not transcend perceptible bounds.
