⭕️The difference between "Say & Tell"

👉 "Say" and "Tell" are irregular verbs.

‼️Say focuses on the words someone said.

‼️Tell focuses more on the content or message of what someone said:

✅‘Hello,’ she said.
❎ Not: ‘Hello,’ she told.

📒 She told him they were going on holiday.
 (The focus is on the information.)

‼️ We use say with direct speech.

📒He said, ‘I’m not paying £50 for that.’

‼️ Say and tell with " objects "

The object is most commonly the reported clause (the report of what someone said).

👉reporting clause

📒She said ‘I don’t know what you mean.’
📒I told her why it had happened.

‼️We use tell without an indirect object with words such as the truth, lie, joke, story:

✅You should never tell a lie.
❎Not: … say a lie.

📒You’re good at telling jokes.

‼️Say does not take an indirect object.Instead, we use a phrase with to:

⭕️The difference between because & because of             

👈بعد از because نیاز به فاعل و فعل داریم. به عنوان مثال اگر بخواهید بگویید “چون باران بارید بیرون نرفتیم” باید جمله به شکل زیر باشد:

🧑‍🦰We didn’t go out because it rained.

👈که در این جمله "it" و "rained" به ترتیب همان فاعل و فعلی هستند که پس از "because" آمده اند. دقت کنید نمی توانیم بگوییم:

🧑‍🦳We didn’t go out because rain.

‼️در مورد "because of" موضوع متفاوت است. بعد از "because of" باید یک اسم یا عبارت اسمی و یا یک فعل در حالت "ing" بکار ببرید. حال ببینید چطور می توان همان مثال “چون باران بارید بیرون نرفتیم” را با "because of" گفت:

🧑‍🦰We didn’t go out because of rain.

در جمله بالا بعد از" because of" از اسم (rain) استفاده شده است. اگر بخواهیم م روی توانیم از فعل "ing" دار استفاده کنیم:
