You may know Michael Sheen as Aziraphale from Good Omens or Aro from Twilight, but the people of south Wales know him for something else entirely.

Setting up a debt acquisition company to help people in south Wales, Michael has written off £1m-worth of debts as part of a new TV show on Channel 4.

He’s also used £100,000 of his own money to help people.

This isn’t the first time he’s used to his own money for good causes, in January he announced he was funding a new theatre company to fill the gap left by the folding of National Theatre Wales.

The top 10 UK train stations with the most cancellations in 2025 have been revealed. 🚂

Ince and Elton in Cheshire has claimed top spot for the most cancellations with 22.8% of all trains cancelled between January 1 and 1 February.

Gathurst in Wigan was second, while Earlswood (Surrey), Birchgrove, Rhiwbina, Whitchurch (Cardiff), and Salfords (Surrey) all saw 11.7% of trains cancelled.

Just 33 stations out of over 18,000 in the UK had no cancellations in the four-week period.

Buckenham in Norfolk was the only station with a perfect score - seeing no cancellations or unscheduled stops and all trains arriving on time or within three minutes.

In footage posted on social media on Saturday, the man can be seen hurling a blue seat from the top floor down to the bottom, before cowardly running away. The person filming pans down to the ground floor where the chair has landed just inches away from innocent members of the public with a caption reading: 'No way bro almost killed someone'. Inspector Dan Window, from Stratford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: 'Police are investigating after a heavy seat was thrown over a barrier from the first floor of Westfield shopping centre in Stratford on Saturday, 1 March.

Jermaine Jenas has split from his wife Ellie Penfold, six months after he was sacked by the BBC following a sexting scandal.

The former footballer was dropped by the channel in August amid allegations of workplace misconduct after sending explicit texts to two female employees.

While at the time Jermaine said he and Ellie, who married in 2011, hoped to work through their marital troubles, she took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal their marriage was over.

In a statement shared on social media, she wrote: 'I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it's necessary.'

The journalist, 59, appeared on the ITV show with Ed Balls and Susanna Reid to talk about his own experience falling out with Donald Trump.

Piers said the US president wanted 'peace not war', with his main goal in office being to end the two conflicts that are raging in Ukraine and Israel.

Newly-single Maura Higgins reportedly shared a 'drunken kiss' with her married I'm A Celeb co-star Danny Jones at a BRIT Awards afterparty on Saturday night.

The former Love Islander, 34, and the McFly star, 38, both attended Universal Music's star-studded bash at 180 Strand.

Footage shared with The Sun newspaper shows the pair getting cosy at the London venue where they had also shared a table earlier in the night with their fellow I'm A Celeb co-star Oti Mabuse.

Danny has been married to wife Georgia since 2014 and the pair share six-year-old son Cooper.

Olympic judo star Lubjana Piovesana has tragically revealed her brother's body has been found, three days after he went missing in Bristol.

More than 100 police officers had been involved in the search for Luis Piovesana, 26, whose sister Lubjana competed for Team GB before switching to the Austrian team.

In a social media post on Monday night, Ms Piovesana wrote: 'Hello everyone, Luis has been found.

'We are completely devastated but he has passed away. I am grateful for everyone's support. And I am so sorry this has happened.

'Luis was my little brother and loved by everyone. I wish he could have seen the love from everyone.'

Last night was the Brat awards as Charli XCX won five Brits for Brat. 🍏

The popstar was the big winner, taking home five prizes in all for her sixth studio album - including best artist and best album.

She also won song of the year for Guess, featuring Billie Eilish.

Despite being nominated in previous years, these are Charli’s first Brit award wins – and the 32-year-old told the crowd how she had previously “felt like an outsider” in the British music industry.

Ezra Collective, Sam Fender, Stormzy and best new artists The Last Dinner Party were the other big British winners on Saturday night, while Fontaines DC and Chappell Roan bagged the international awards.
