📕Clause of purpose ..

📘 So we use certain clauses to show why somebody does something. These are called clauses of purpose. They are introduced with the following words or expressions:

✅We were asked to say over in order to finish the project.

📕so that + can/will – used for a present or future reference;
✅ Here’s my number so that you can call me if you have a problem.

📕so that +could/would – used for a past reference;

✅We left early so that we would be able to park close to the stadium.

📘In case + present tense _ present or future referenc .

✅Take your hat in case it gets too hot.

📕in case + past tense – used for past reference –

✅We took an umbrella in case it rained.

📘for + noun – used to express purpose –
✅ We went out for a pizza.

📘for + -ing – used to express purpose and/or function of something –

✅ I went to library for studying ..

📕For negative purpose we use:
in order not to/so as not to + infinitive –
✅ we walked in quietly so as not to wake up the children.

📘Clause of purpose ..
📕 in order to , so as to , so that...
📘 برای بیان منظور می تواتیم از مصدر با to استفاده كنیم.

✅ He wet to French to study politics.

📕برای بیان منظور می توانیم ازدو تركیبهای
( in order to) و  ( so as to ) ( so that)  ..
📕به معنای «برای این که / به منظور این که» استفاده كنیم
باید توجه داشت كه بعد از این دو تركیب شكل ساده فعل به كار می رود. in order to و so as to در واقع همان مصدر با to هستند البته کمی رسمی تر.

✅ He wet to university in order to give a lecture.

✅He is learning computer so as to find a better job.

📘گاهی اوقات برای تاکید هر چه بیشتر می توانیم عبارت مصدری را در ابتدا ی جمله به كار ببریم.

✅ In order to save money, some materials needed to build and run the base could come from the moon itself.

✅ So as to buy bread , she sent Sara to the shop.

📕در  جملات  زیر  به شكل منفی دو تركیب  in order to و so as to  توجه كنید.
📘So as + not + to.
📕in order + not + to. 

✅ I set the alarm clock so as not to get up late in the morning.

✅I got up early in order not to miss the train.

📕كاربرد so that   و  in order that
این دو تركیب ربط د هنده ،  برای بیان هدف و منظور به معنای « به منظور این که / به طوری که / برای این که » استفاده می شود.

📘اگر زمان جمله ی پایه حال باشد افعال کمکیcan , will , may  واگر زمان جمله ی پایه گذشته باشد افعال کمکی   could ,would , might استفاده می شود.

✅ Ali goes to the library  so that  he can study  in a quite place.

📕Father bought a bigger house  in order that  we might live more comfortably. 

📘 گاهی اوقات در شكل محاوره ای در كاربرد so that  كلمه that حذف می شود..

📕I turned off the radio so ( that ) my brother could study his books.

📘in order that  بیش تر در جمله های نوشتاری رسمی استفاده می شود.
