💠 Imam Ali (as)‏:

Beguile your soul by standing in worship; be tolerant with it and compel it not with force and reluctance. Make allowances for both its weariness and its leisure, except for the daily obligations that are incumbent upon it, for it must fulfill them and undertake them at their prescribed times.

خَادِعْ نَفْسَكَ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ وَ ارْفُقْ بِهَا وَ لَا تَقْهَرْهَا وَ خُذْ عَفْوَهَا وَ نَشَاطَهَا إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مَكْتُوباً عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْفَرِيضَةِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ مِنْ قَضَائِهَا وَ تَعَاهُدِهَا عِنْدَ مَحَلِّهَا
