V-Y SHAPED BLEPHAROPLASTY❖
Indication✧ Used basically to correct Cicatricial Ectropion (droopy eyelids).
✧ The aim of the technique is to free the skin from the underlying scar and allow the lid to return back to its normal position.

Procedures:-
1. A V-shaped incision is made from the lid margin
(A).
2. Undermine the skin at the apex of the "
V". The skin is freed from the underlying scar tissue by blunt dissection and the scar tissue is excised.
3. Provided that the base of the skin triangle flap still attached and elevated upwardly
(B).
4. The wound lips of the distal half of the triangular bared area are coapitated with simple interrupted stitches
(C).
5. Then the skin flap is put to cover the remaining portion of the triangle where it was fixed by simple interrupted stitches on both sides to forms the arms of the Y
