Human Resources Manager
Location: Erbil, Iraq

Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will oversee the effective management of human resources, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices to support the organization's mission in Iraq. This role involves strategic planning, team management, recruitment, and creating a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
Analyze and improve current HR systems.
Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Foster diversity and inclusivity within the workplace.
Support organizational changes through effective planning and communication.
HR Management:
Maintain comprehensive personnel files and recruitment documentation.
Ensure payroll, salaries, and benefits comply with policies and regulations.
Provide guidance on employee development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Coordinate staff orientations and HR policy implementation.
Team Development:
Create a respectful and supportive work environment.
Provide resources and training to help team members achieve goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
Compliance and Accountability:
Ensure HR practices align with local labor laws.
Promote accountability to international humanitarian standards and organizational policies.
Safeguard all employees by upholding ethical policies and conducting regular Code of Conduct training.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in HR management, preferably in the humanitarian or non-governmental sector.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent written and spoken English; ability to translate between Kurdish/Arabic and English.
Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience with team building, diversity initiatives, and conflict resolution.
