Important Parameters for Analyzing Competitors on Social Networks
One of the most important links for progress in social media is the study and analysis of competitors. This has a great impact on your activities. For this purpose, you should consider important parameters:
1- Content and Content Diversity: You should pay attention to the quality and diversity of your competitor's content. Check and see what types of content your competitors use. How much diversity is there in their topics. Get ideas from these. For example, does the competitor deal with various topics related to his business or does he only post his products?
2- Page Reach: It is natural that you do not have access to the reach of your competitors' pages. But you can check the virality of his page content. For example, see how many views your competitor's page rails have had? How different is it from yours? Has the competitor been able to have rails in the millions or with very high views?
3- Design: See what style your competitor's page is designed in. You can compare the cover rails, highlights, post layout and anything else that is on the page's showcase with your page and see what the audience is attracted to.
4- Check the engagement rate and level of engagement: Compare the level of engagement or engagement of your competitors with their followers. You can find out this by observing the comments and the type of response. You can also calculate the engagement rate with the tools we mentioned earlier.
5- Follower growth: Keep this in mind. The rate of follower growth is a very important issue. If you compare yourself with the right competitor, your expectations of the growth and decline of your followers will also be reasonable.
